The oven and air fryer methods are healthy and quick. For the air fryer method , air fry cauliflower for 10-15 minutes at 375 F (190 C) until golden. Be sure to flip every 5 minutes.
Making roasted cauliflower with tahini ahead of time
- Prep: Cut cauliflower into florets, place in an airtight container and refrigerate 3 days ahead. Prepare tahini sauce and keep in a fridge as well.
- Cook: If you plan to use this roasted cauliflower in a salad with tahini dressing, bake it and allow to cool completely. Cover and refrigerate for 3-4 days.
- Reheat: For reheating the cauliflower, use oven, air fryer or microwave. Heat until warm through.
Perfect roasted cauliflower (tips)
- Toss the cauliflower with other ingredients on the tray. This guarantees oil and seasonings are equally distributed among the florets.
- Preheat your oven. You will need to preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). This ensures that caramelization process starts right away.
- Don’t overcrowd the tray. Be sure to use a large baking tray not to overcrowd the veggies, they will not get caramelized evenly. Spread the florets in a single layer.
