

Stir fry should be served immediately, as it is at its best texture and taste when it is hot. It can be served with white or brown rice or with fragrant basmati rice as well as rice noodles or cauliflower rice prepared with a healthy portion of butter. Zucchini pasta is another carb free complement to stir fry. It can be made with a vegetable spiralizer and then lightly fried. Stir fry can also be served in a bun for a heartier option. Cooking your stir fry should happen fast and at a high heat. It shouldn't take more than five minutes to finish frying.
You may like to add greek yoghurt or a sriracha or chilli sauce once served and garnish with green onions.
EASY BEEF STIR FRY RECIPE
BEEF STIR FRY RECIPE WITH SNOW PEAS AND CARROTS
Ingredients
- Beef- 1 kg eye round steak
- Snow Peas- 700 gm
- Carrots- 2 medium
- Ginger finely chopped- 1 tbsp
- Garlic finely chopped- 1 tbsp
- Soy Sauce- 1 tbsp
- Hoisin Sauce- 2 tbs
- Sesame oil- 1 tsp
- Cooking Oil- 2 tbsp
- Water- 5 tbsp
- Corn Flour cornstarch -1 tbsp
- Salt- To Taste
- Black pepper -To Taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl combine soy sauce, Hoisin sauce, sesame oil,cornstach, water, black pepper, salt, chopped garlic and ginger.
- Take a large saucepan or a pan that will accommodate all the ingredients. Heat the cooking oil. Once it is hot, add beef pieces and fry for 5-10 minutes on high heat, stirring occasionally .
- Add sauce ingredients ( step 1) to the saucepan and fry another 5 minutes.
- Add carrots, fry 1-3 minutes. Don't over-cook. The vegetables must be crunchy .
- Add snow peas with trimmed ends. Repeat the procedure.
- Serve immediately with rice.
