EASY SALMON RECIPE
This is a very easy salmon recipe. You don’t need to sauté garlic in butter before adding to the sauce. Simply mix honey with butter, garlic and lemon juice and then pour the sauce over the salmon. Garlic will be cooked together with salmon. Baking salmon in foil makes it so flavorful, juicy and flaky! Your whole family will love it!
Honey Garlic Butter Salmon in Foil
My Lemon Butter Garlic Salmon was a real hit! So this time I decided to come up with something similar to that salmon recipe. Let’s have a look at the ingredients for this recipe.
You will need 5 basic ingredients:
Side of salmon: Use a skinless whole side of salmon or salmon fillets.
Unsalted butter: The recipe calls for butter, I love to use Ghee as well. You can substitute butter with olive oil.
Honey: Both honey or maple syrup will work well.
Garlic cloves: Adds so much flavor.
Juice of 1 lemon: Balances the sweetness in the sauce.
Honey Garlic Butter Sauce
This sauce is truly fantastic! It is so versatile and goes well with shrimp, chicken and veggies. After a tough working day, making a dinner will be a breeze!
How to bake salmon in foil?
- Line a large baking tray with foil.
- Mix all the ingredients for the sauce (butter, lemon juice, honey and garlic).
- Once the honey-butter sauce is ready, put salmon on the tray and pour the sauce over it. Use a spoon or a brush to spread the sauce evenly.
- Season salmon with black pepper and salt and cover the baking tray/sheet with another large piece of foil, sealing the edges completely. This will prevent the sauce leakage or evaporation.
How long to bake salmon at 375 in foil?
Bake salmon for 15 minutes in the preheated oven. Don’t open the foil to check its doneness.
It is very important not to overcook salmon, otherwise it will be dry. The perfectly baked salmon in foil is always juicy and flaky and will literally melt in your mouth.
Serving suggestions
Serve it with mashed potatoes, jasmine rice, Instant pot brown rice, homemade pasta or quinoa salad with feta.
