Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta recipe
Chicken always pairs really great with ranch and Alfredo sauce. And I was 100 % sure it would be a hit to make it all into a delicious pasta dish. I was right!! Even my picky kids loved it.
The recipe is very easy and customizable. And the best part is that this pasta dish comes together really quickly.
Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta Ingredients
- Pasta: penne, rotini, rigatoni will work well for this recipe.
- Chicken breasts: Cut chicken breasts into bite sized pieces and fry. Alternatively you can shred the cooked chicken, but the shredded meat is usually much drier. If you plan to use the shredded chicken, you might need to increase the amount of Alfredo sauce and add 4 cups instead of 3 because shredded chicken tends to absorb liquid.
- Bacon strips: Use high quality bacon. Beef and turkey bacon will work also great for halal version.
- Garlic and onion powders add the flavor.
- Italian seasoning: Use any seasoning you like. But this one boosts the flavor.
- Alfredo sauce: Store-bought Alfredo sauce is quite expensive, that is why I always make it myself. It takes only 10 minutes to make this creamy sauce. And it goes incredibly well with so many pasta dishes. Both my Olive garden Alfredo sauce and classic Alfredo sauce (without flour) will work well.
- Ranch dressing: I used dressing instead of ranch seasoning. This guarantees that pasta won’t be dry.
- Cheddar cheese: Use any hard cheese you like, but please shred it yourself to get the creamiest pasta.

How to store Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta?
- Refrigerator: You can store this pasta dish in an airtight container up to 3-4 days in the fridge.
- Freezer: This pasta freezes well. However, keep in mind that if you will use Alfredo sauce without flour, the consistency of the sauce will change slightly. I do recommend to use a flour-based Alfredo sauce if you plan to freeze it.
