- Brown broad beans - 1 can 450 gm / 7 oz
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Medium tomato diced-1
- Garlic clove finely chopped- 1
- Green chili chopped- 1
- Fresh parsley roughly chopped- 1 tbsp.
- Olive oil- as needed to drizzle
- Salt - to taste
Empty the can of fava beans into a saucepan with liquid and heat for about 5-7 minutes over medium heat or until beans are warm. You might need to add a little more liquid to keep it wet.
Once the beans are hot, crush them with a fork. Add the garlic, lemon juice and green chili and mix. Add salt as needed.
Top with the diced tomato and parsley. Drizzle with olive oil.
