Basil Pesto Butter

- Packed fresh basil leaves- 1 cup
- Fresh grated Parmesan cheese-1/4 cup
- Butter softened-1 cup
- Nuts walnuts, pine nuts, almonds or pecans- 2 tablespoons
- Garlic clove-1
- Lemon juice- 1 tablespoon
- A pinch of salt
Combine the basil, nuts, Parmesan, garlic, lemon juice and salt in a food processor. Process until well blended but still has some texture. Scrape down the sides and add butter. Continue processing until well combined. Taste and adjust the salt.
Shape the basil pesto butter mixture into a log and wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate. Enjoy!
