Description

Ingredients
- Asparagus spears ( woody ends removed)- 1 pound / 500 g
- Olive oil- 3 tbsp.
- Garlic cloves ( minced)- 4
- Ground black pepper- 1 tsp.
- Salt- 1/2 tsp. or as needed
- Mozzarella cheese ( shredded)- 1 1/4 cup
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 220°C/ 425°F with the rack in the middle of the oven. Spray a baking sheet with a nonstick cooking spray.
- Remove woody ends of asparagus and put on the baking sheet. Keep aside.
- Mix together olive oil, minced garlic, ground black pepper and salt. Pour the mixture over the asparagus and coat evenly.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until beginning to become tender. It will have vibrant green color.
- Remove from the oven and spread mozzarella cheese on the top. Return to the oven and broil for another 4-5 minutes or until the cheese melts and becomes slightly golden.
- Serve immediately.
