Ingredients
Brown Burg
cracked wheat- 5 tbsp
Tomatoes- 5 large
Flat-leaf parsley- 2 bunches
Mint Leaves- 1 bunch
Olive oil- 2 tbsp
Lemon juice-3 tbsp
Salt-To Taste
Cayenne Pepper- To Taste
Instructions
Place brown burg( cracked wheat) in a medium bowl, add 100 ml of boiling water, cover and set aside for 15-20 minutes until burg absorb all the water.
Chop tomatoes, flat-leaf parsley and mint leaves.
Combine softened burg, chopped tomatoes, parsley and mint leaves. Add olive oil and lemon juice. Mix well.
As an option you can add an onion & garlic.
Viola! Arabic Tabouli salad!
