Instructions
For the cheese ball: In a large mixing bowl, add the crumbled bacon (6 strips), 16 ounces of room temperature cream cheese, 1/4 cup sour cream, 1/2 cup Monterey Jack cheese, 1 cup cheddar cheese, 3 finely chopped jalapenos, 2 tablespoons chopped green onions, 3 tablespoons ranch seasoning, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, and 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper. Use a wooden spatula to thoroughly mix all the ingredients.
For coating: In a separate bowl, mix 3/4 cup chopped roasted pecans, 2 heaping tablespoons of chopped parsley, the crumbled bacon (3 strips), 1/4 cup cheddar cheese, and sliced jalapenos.
Assemble the cheese ball: Shape the cheese mixture into a ball, then roll it over the toppings to fully coat and form an even ball.
Refrigerate: Wrap the cheese ball in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least an hour before serving. This helps the flavors to meld and the cheese ball to firm up.
Serve with crackers, vegetable sticks, or any dippers of your choice.
