HOW TO COOK BROWN RICE IN INSTANT POT

Ingredients

  • Brown rice soaked-2 cups
  • Ghee- 1 tbsp.
  • Water/Stock- 2 1/2 cup
  • Salt- to taste

Instructions

  • Transfer the soaked rice into a fine-mesh,rinse and drain well.
  • Turn on the Instant pot, choose "Saute" mode and set time for 2 min. Add ghee and melt it. Press "Cancel".
  • Then add brown rice to the Instant Pot and mix with ghee.
  • Pour in water and add salt, then seal the lid of the Instant pot, choose "Pressure Cook" mode and set time +/- for 15 minutes. Press "Cancel" and allow natural pressure release for 10 minutes.
  • Open the pot and fluff the brown rice, using a fork. Serve with veggies or meat curry.
