Description

Smoked salmon bagels: A classic New York breakfast of bagels, cream cheese, and smoked salmon. So delicious and easy to make!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 bagels, halved
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1-2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
  • Salt and cracked black pepper, to taste
  • 1 medium Avocado, peeled, stoned and sliced into thin strips
  • 4 ounces smoked salmon slices
  • 2 tablespoons capers
  • Fresh Dill, to serve

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mix together the cream cheese, lemon juice, fresh parsley, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Evenly distribute the ingredients and assemble the sandwich in the following order: start with the bottom bagel slice, then layer with herb cream cheese, avocado, salmon, capers, a pinch of dill, and finally, top it off with the remaining bagel slice.

Notes

Assemble Just Before Eating: When you're ready to enjoy your Smoked Salmon Bagels, take out the ingredients from the refrigerator and assemble the bagel sandwich. This will ensure the bagel stays fresh and the avocado doesn't brown too much.
