Ingredients
- Brown Burg( cracked wheat)- 5 tbsp
- Tomatoes- 5 large
- Flat-leaf parsley- 2 bunches
- Mint Leaves- 1 bunch
- Olive oil- 2 tbsp
- Lemon juice-3 tbsp
- Salt-To Taste
- Cayenne Pepper- To Taste
Instructions
- Place brown burg( cracked wheat) in a medium bowl, add 100 ml of boiling water, cover and set aside for 15-20 minutes until burg absorb all the water.
- Chop tomatoes, flat-leaf parsley and mint leaves.
- Combine softened burg, chopped tomatoes, parsley and mint leaves. Add olive oil and lemon juice. Mix well.
- As an option you can add an onion & garlic.
- Viola! Arabic Tabouli salad!
