Ingredients
- Chicken sausages- 15 ( medium size)
- All purpose Flour - 300 gm / 2 1/2 cup
- Butter- 30 gm / 2 tbsp
- Eggs -2
- Egg yolk -1
- Milk-180 ml
- Active dry yeast - 5 gm
- Sugar- 1/2 tbsp
- Salt- 1 tsp
- Sesame seeds- 1 tbsp
Instructions
- Sift flour with salt. Add active dry yeast, 2 eggs and start mixing. Knead 5-10 minutes.
- Place the dough on the dry dusted surface.Add butter ( room temperature) and continue kneading for another 10 minutes until smooth.
- Transfer the dough in a clean large bowl, cover with the wet towel and allow to rise in the warm environment for 1-1.5 h.
- Divide the dough into 15 pieces. ( depends on the amount of sausages).
- Roll out 15 strips.
- Wrap sausages with the strips,place on the greased baking tray and allow to stand for 10 minutes.
- In a small bowl whisk egg yolk with 1 tbsp of water. Grease sausages with egg yolk and sprinkle sesame seeds.
- Preheat your oven to 200 C or 400 F. Bake the sausages 8 minutes then reduce the temperature to 170 C or 340 F and bake another 5-7 minutes until pale golden color.
- Serve immediately.
