Ingredients

  • Chicken sausages- 15 ( medium size)
  • All purpose Flour - 300 gm / 2 1/2 cup
  • Butter- 30 gm / 2 tbsp
  • Eggs -2
  • Egg yolk -1
  • Milk-180 ml
  • Active dry yeast - 5 gm
  • Sugar- 1/2 tbsp
  • Salt- 1 tsp
  • Sesame seeds- 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Sift flour with salt. Add active dry yeast, 2 eggs and start mixing. Knead 5-10 minutes.
  2. Place the dough on the dry dusted surface.Add butter ( room temperature) and continue kneading for another 10 minutes until smooth.
  3. Transfer the dough in a clean large bowl, cover with the wet towel and allow to rise in the warm environment for 1-1.5 h.
  4. Divide the dough into 15 pieces. ( depends on the amount of sausages).
  5. Roll out 15 strips.
  6. Wrap sausages with the strips,place on the greased baking tray and allow to stand for 10 minutes.
  7. In a small bowl whisk egg yolk with 1 tbsp of water. Grease sausages with egg yolk and sprinkle sesame seeds.
  8. Preheat your oven to 200 C or 400 F. Bake the sausages 8 minutes then reduce the temperature to 170 C or 340 F and bake another 5-7 minutes until pale golden color.
  9. Serve immediately.
