Makes 1 3/4 cup

If you like the Japanese cuisine, you will love this Gluten Free, tangy Homemade Japanese salad dressing.


Ingredients

  • Carrot ( cubed)-1/2 cup
  • Celery ( chopped)- 1/4 cup
  • Onion ( chopped)- 1/4 cup
  • Ginger ( minced)- 2 tbsp.
  • Orange ( peeled, seeded and cubed)-1
  • Light soy sauce- 1 1/2 tbsp.
  • Rice vinegar- 1/4 cup
  • Ketchup - 1 1/4 tbsp.
  • Mayonnaise- 1 tbsp.
  • Vegetable oil- 1/2 cup
  • Sugar- 1 tsp.
  • Salt- to taste
  • Japanese salad dressing

Instructions

  1. Blend the carrots, onions, celery, orange and ginger in a food processor until pureed.
  2. Transfer to a medium bowl.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients ( soy sauce, ketchup, mayonnaise, vegetable oil, sugar and rice vinegar) and mix until well combined. Adjust seasoning with salt, if required.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for up to 1 week.
  5. Stir well before serving.
  6. Enjoy!
