Description
Delicious Middle Eastern broad bean dip-Foul Mudammas! It is made of cooked fava beans, flavored with garlic and lemon juice. Ready in 10 min. Vegan and GF.
Ingredients

- Brown broad beans - 1 can ( 450 gm) / 7 oz
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Medium tomato ( diced)-1
- Garlic clove ( finely chopped)- 1
- Green chili ( chopped)- 1
- Fresh parsley ( roughly chopped)- 1 tbsp.
- Olive oil- as needed to drizzle
- Salt - to taste
Instructions
- Empty the can of fava beans into a saucepan with liquid and heat for about 5-7 minutes over medium heat or until beans are warm. You might need to add a little more liquid to keep it wet.
- Once the beans are hot, crush them with a fork. Add the garlic, lemon juice and green chili and mix. Add salt as needed.
- Top with the diced tomato and parsley. Drizzle with olive oil.
