Description
Famous Argentinian Green sauce made of fresh parsley, garlic, olive oil & vinegar.
Ingredients
- Fresh parsley- 2 cups ( finely chopped)
- Garlic cloves( finely chopped)-4-5 medium
- Vinegar ( 3 %) -1/4 cup
- Virgin Olive oil- 1 cup
- Dry Oregano herbs- 2 1/2 tbsp
- Dry Red Chili Flakes- 1 tsp
- Ground Black Pepper- 1/2 tsp
- Salt- approx. 1/2 tsp or To Taste
Instructions
- In a food processor with a blade attachment place chopped parsley,garlic cloves, vinegar, dry oregano,red chili flakes,black pepper and salt( to taste). Process 20-40 seconds total. Don't over-process.
- Gradually add virgin olive oil and process for another 10-20 seconds.
- Transfer the sauce in the airtight container and refrigerate at least 4 hours . You can store it up to 1 week.
Notes
You can make Chimicurri with cilantro ( coriander leaves) , fresh dill leaves, scallions, lemon juice, tomatillos, avocados, and chipotles.
