Description
Easy homemade Carrot Hummus is much better than any store bought Sriracha carrot hummus. You will be amazed at how quick and easy it is to make the best carrot hummus at home! It has a bright color and creamy texture.
Ingredients
- Chickpeas (cooked)- 1 can (15 oz)
- Roasted carrots ( sliced)-1 cup, about 3 medium carrots
- Garlic cloves-2
- Tahini-1 tbsp.
- Cumin powder- 1 tsp.
- Coriander powder-1/2 tsp.
- Sriracha- 1 tbsp.
- Lemon juice -3 tbsp ( half of lemon)
- Olive oil-1/4 cup
- Salt-to taste
Garnish
- Olive oil
- Chickpeas-5-8
- Toasted walnuts-2-3
- Black sesame seeds- 1/2 tsp.
- Dill leaves- 1 tsp.
- Black olives- as needed
Instructions
- Add chickpeas, roasted carrots, garlic cloves, tahini, cumin powder, sriracha sauce, coriander powder,salt and lemon juice into a food processor or blender, blend until finely minced. Gradually add olive oil while blending and blend until smooth.
- Transfer hummus onto a plate. Drizzle with olive oil and garnish with toasted walnuts, chickpeas, black sesame seeds and dill leaves. Enjoy!
