Description

Air Fryer Shishito Peppers make for a quick and effortless snack or appetizer in the air fryer. They come out perfectly charred and blistered with a smoky flavor. These bite-size peppers are mild, not spicy, and incredibly tasty! Ready in 10 minutes.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces shishito peppers ( you can get them at farmers markets, some grocery stores, and Trader Joe's
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon coarse salt
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Rinse the shishito peppers and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  • In a mixing bowl, toss the peppers with olive oil until evenly coated.
  • Arrange the peppers in the air fryer basket.
  • Air fry for 6-8 minutes in one batch, shaking the basket every couple of minutes to ensure even cooking.
  • When the peppers are charred and blistered on the outside, remove them from the air fryer.
  • Sprinkle salt over the peppers and serve with lemon wedges immediately.
